State of the Art Datacenters
Your customers have come to rely on you to show them clever tools and services to help them do business. TelePacific is right on par, developing telecommunication solutions that offer the flexibility, security, and capacity for growth that SMBs need.
TelePacific colocation solutions can be a wise move for companies, offering tremendous performance and fiscal benefits in comparison to hosting the same systems in-house. What's not to like about having the power and convenience of a datacenter without the capital expense of building one? With the recent acquisition of OCiX, we have expanded our presence in California with a second SAS 70 Type 2 datacenter.
Our new facility in Southern California offers state-of-the-art security and reliability that SMBs need for their mission-critical applications:
Summer is in full swing and we're firing it up with some great colocation promotions for customers with three-year term pricing that will have them smiling all the way to the bank. Our Show & Sell datacenter promotion runs through August 20, 2011, so now is the time for customers to take advantage of this limited-time offer.
"Show & Sell" Datacenter Promotion
We would like to show you our new digs, so look for details on our Santa Ana Datacenter open house in the near future.
Out with SAS 70. In with SSAE 16.
As of June 15, 2011, SSAE 16 is the new standard for reporting on controls at service organizations, replacing SAS 70. TelePacific is transitioning its datacenters to adhere to this evolution of security standards.
TelePacific Arrives in Texas
TelePacific recently announced the acquisition of Texas-based Tel West Network Services Corporation, one of the fastest growing privately held companies in Central Texas, offering high speed internet and other ancillary telecommunications services. While Tel West will continue to operate in Texas under its own name, this marks TelePacific's physical expansion beyond California and Nevada. TelePacific customers with offices in Texas can more easily receive their services from one provider. This is a win-win for your customers with offices in both states.
This new acquisition, coupled with our recent announcement of the purchase of Telekenex — which includes a nationwide PCI compliant MPLS/OC-192 backbone, cloud-based security services, managed network services and a robust hosted PBX platform — showcases our growing nationwide capabilities and services. Stay tuned for more information about all the exciting news taking place and how it will benefit your customers and your sales.
Hosted PBX Opens New Doors
We have some exciting new services coming onboard in the 3rd quarter of 2011. We’re gearing up to launch Hosted PBX which is a fully hosted and managed Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony solution that is going to change the way you think about your communications system.
This new product will enable customers to connect to an off-site managed PBX system, giving them the robust features of an on-site PBX system without a large capital expense. Furthermore, since the PBX system is in the cloud there are no physical boundaries and we can make necessary upgrades to the software and hardware without any interruptions.
With the addition of Hosted PBX, we'll be breaking the shackles associated with premise-based equipment, enabling you to connect multiple offices and locations with our business-grade IP solutions.
With the addition of cloud-based services, TelePacific will be breaking the shackles associated with premise-based equipment and software. Customers will be able to connect multiple offices and locations with our business-grade IP solutions.
We will always offer our legacy services with exceptional quality—for some of your clients it’s a perfect fit. However, you may have clients who don’t have the available capital to purchase their own PBX equipment, prefer the predictability of monthly service fees rather than equipment and maintenance cost or whose equipment and technology needs change frequently. For those clients, Hosted PBX may be a perfect match. Even if you primarily deal with traditional PBX systems, hosted PBX may provide you an opportunity to keep a client happy who would otherwise not purchase traditional equipment, and you can still benefit financially from it.
In the Cloud
It used to be that if someone accused you of having your head in the clouds it wasn’t necessarily a good thing. Well, times certainly have changed because "In the Clouds" is the place to be! About 87 percent of consumers with computers and Internet access say they use at least one cloud-based service, according to a survey earlier this year by ABI Research.
So just what is this so-called cloud and what are its benefits?
Cloud-based systems such as our Hosted PBX, Hosted Firewall and Back-up Services refer to systems that are hosted by a service provider and accessed and managed over the Internet. Because there are no hardware or software purchases on the customers' end, they get access to highly advanced features without the technical headache or large capital costs.
Cloud-based systems also eliminate the common problem of technology and hardware obsolescence and the financial drain associated with equipment and software maintenance and updates. They're also fully scalable, so customers can start with a service and transition up the scale as their business grows.
