Covad Wireless Acquisition

As your business needs evolve, we are doing the same so we can continue to provide the fast, secure and reliable service our customers rely on. We are pleased to announce the pending acquisition of Covad Wireless, a broadband fixed wireless carrier operating in California and Nevada.

TelePacific customers will benefit by having access to an industry-leading wireless infrastructure. The expanded service also means faster deployment, better performance and increased reliability with decreased dependence on upstream carriers. New wireless data products will be available at acquisition close expected in March 2011.

TelePacific's New Equipment Leasing Program

Is it time to upgrade your phone system or take your communications capabilities to the next level? TelePacific's new leasing program makes it easier to invest in your telecom equipment needs while minimizing the impact to cash flow. You can also streamline your accounting by having lease payments for new equipment bundled with your monthly service bill.

Staying on top of technology advances has never been more critical when it comes to your communication needs. After all, people are plugged in 24/7 and that impending phone call or email may just seal the business deal you've been working on all month. If your business is ready for an equipment upgrade, leasing equipment may make financial sense.

There is no time like the present! As a result of the Small Business Jobs Act, under Section 179, small and moderate sized businesses may benefit from tax deductions when they lease or purchase new equipment. It may be worth a call to your accountant to see if you qualify.

Business Continuity Solutions

Sometimes when the unexpected happens it can be a welcome thing. After all, change is good right? Unfortunately, when it comes to your business operations, the unexpected can mean an unplanned interruption or weather-related disaster which spells trouble for operations if your company is not adequately prepared.

TelePacific is here to help you be proactive and put systems in place to be able to resume, sustain and manage operations in the wake of the unexpected. Our colocation and data protection services can provide backup and recovery of critical information and applications, including email. Multiple location customers sharing Internet access through a Private IP arrangement can add Internet at two or more locations for backup connectivity. If your primary T1 becomes unavailable, all traffic automatically diverts to the secondary. Plus, our wireless MiFi hotspot device can provide backup data access for up to five devices.

TelePacific's business continuity solutions can give you the highest degree of fault tolerance in maintaining your critical communications. To top it all off, our Network Control Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so those days of figuring it out yourself are a thing of the past. Contact your TelePacific representative to discuss how our services may fit into your business continuity plans.
